Yes, I absolutely adore crab and I am lucky enough to have a wonderful fishmonger with seafood straight, literally, from the sea! I have tasted this pasta recipe in Italy and I was happy to discover that the crab meat was fresh. Crab has such a delicate and subtle savor that in my opinion, it is a waste to cook it ! As usual, I tend to cook fresh pasta as they are tastier and take 5 minutes to cook only! Obviously, if you cannot find fresh pasta, go for any others...

In your fridge
Fresh linguine
Fresh crab meat
Lemons
Parmesan
Fresh parsley

In your cupboard 
Olive oil
Garlic


FRESH CRAB MEAT LINGUINE
Serves 4

 
400g 14,10 oz of fresh linguine 
2 garlic cloves crushed
300g 10,58 oz of fresh white crab meat
The juice and zest of 1 lemon
Olive oil
Parmesan
Fresh parsley

Boil the water for the linguine and cook them for 6 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a pan, soften the garlic with the lemon zest for a few minutes.
Once cook, drain the linguine, toss with the crab, the garlic mixture and the lemon juice.
Drizzle with olive oil and combine well.
Serve with a little bit of fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese.



Linguine au crabe frais


Pour 4 personnes
400g de linguine fraiches
2 gousses d’ail écrasées
300g de chair de crabe fraiche
Le jus et le zeste d’1 citron
Huile d’olive
Parmesan
Persil frais

Cuire les pâtes dans l’eau bouillante salée pendant 6 minutes.
Pendant ce temps, faites revenir dans une poêle l’ail avec les zestes pendant quelques minutes.
Egouttez les pâtes, les mélanger au crabe puis à la préparation ail-citron.
Assaisonnez du jus de citron et d’huile d’olive. Bien mélanger le tout.
Servir avec du persil et du parmesan.
