MANGO AND LONG PEPPER SALAD
(Salade de mangue et poivrons)


I know, it sounds strange isn't it? But it is one of my creation I am very proud of! Do not ask me why I did it though because I have absolutely no idea... I tend to eat pepper grilled quite a lot though. It has a soft and sweet taste, perfect to accompany nearly anything!


Wine pairing : Anjou (White) from the Loire Valley.

A quick glance in your kitchen…

In your fridge
Long pepper

In your cupboard
Mango
Finest olive oil


MANGO AND LONG PEPPER SALAD
Serves 2-3



3 long peppers
1 large mango
Finest olive oil

Cut the peppers in half and discards the seeds.
Preheat your oven at 200°C.
Place the peppers in a baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Once cooked, leave them to cool down and remove the skin.
In a lovely bowl, cut the mango into strips as well as the pepper.
Drizzle with olive oil, combine well and enjoy! 


Salade de mangue et de poivrons 

Pour 2-3 personnes
3 poivrons longs
1 mangue large
De la très bonne huile d’olive

Coupez les poivrons en deux et jetez les pépins.
Préchauffez votre four à 200°C.
Posez les poivrons sur une plaque recouverte de papier sulfurisé.
Enfournez pour 30 minutes.
Une fois cuits, les laisser refroidir afin d’en ôter la peau.
Dans un joli récipient, coupez la mangue en lanières et les poivrons également.
Arrosez d’huile d’olive, bien mélanger et servir !
