POUND CAKE, APPLES, LIME AND GOAT CHEESE SALAD
(Salade de 4/4, pommes, citron vert et chèvre)


This is what I call a very yummy "salade gourmande" (a gourmet salad but in a greedy sense if you know what I mean;)). You have the enjoyable bite given by the pound cake, the freshness of the apples, the zingy taste of the lime and the creamy side with the goat cheese : a very balanced sweet and sour salad in no time! POUND CAKE, APPLES, LIME AND GOAT CHEESE SALAD 
A quick glance in your kitchen…

In your fridge
Granny Smith apples
Goat cheese
Lime

In your cupboard
Pound cake or any butter cake
Walnuts (optional)
Olive oil
Raspberry vinegar



POUND CAKE, APPLES, LIME AND GOAT CHEESE SALAD
Serves 4


200g 7,05 oz of pound cake (homemade or not) cubed
4 granny Smith apples peeled and sliced
70g 7,05 oz of walnuts crushed (optional)
200g 2,46 oz of goat cheese sliced
The juice of 2 limes
The zest of 1 lime
5 tbsp of olive oil
2 tbsp of raspberry vinegar

Put the apples in a large bowl with the lime juice. Set aside.
In a pan, soften the pound cake until it is golden (not brown).
In the bowl, add the goat cheese, walnuts, the pound cake, the olive oil and vinegar.
Combine well and drizzle with lime zest.
It's ready!


Salade de 4/4, pommes, citron vert et chèvre

Pour 4 personnes 
200g de 4/4 du commerce ou maison (recette ICI) coupé en morceaux
4 pommes Granny Smith épépinées et coupées en tranches
70g de cerneaux de noix (facultatif)
200g de chèvre en tranches
Le jus de 2 citrons verts
Le zeste d'1 citron vert
5 CAS d’huile d’olive
2 CAS de vinaigre de framboise

Déposez les pommes dans un saladier. Arrosez-les du jus de citron. Réservez.
Dans une poêle, faites revenir les morceaux du 4/4 jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient bien dorés.
Ajoutez dans le saladier le chèvre, les noix, le 4/4, l’huile d’olive et le vinaigre.
Mélangez bien le tout et parsemez de zestes de citron vert.
C’est prêt !
