PISTOUNADE SANDWICH 
(Tuna, basil, olives and almonds)


If you want to taste a little bit of sun today, do not go further! This sandwich is just for you...
Easy, delicious and well balanced, you will be in love with the lovely Mediterranean ingredients... I have already proposed you the pistounade as a dip, but paired with the tuna, it's a match made in heaven... 




Wine pairing : Reuilly (White) from the Loire Valley.




PISTOUNADE SANDWICH (Tuna, basil, olives and almonds)

A quick glance in your kitchen…

In your fridge
Fresh basil leaves
Lemon

In your cupboard
Pitted green olives
Garlic cloves
Olive oil
Ground almonds
Tin of tuna in olive oil
Slices of bread


PISTOUNADE SANDWICH (Tuna, basil, olives and almonds)
Serves 1

For 1 jar of pistounade 
200g 7,05 oz of pitted green olives 
2 garlic cloves
3 tbsp of olive oil 
A dozen of fresh basil leaves 
2 rounded tbsp of ground almonds 
The juice of a lemon

Tuna with olive oil in tin 
2 slices of bread

For the pistounade
Using a hand blender, blitz smooth the olives with the garlic, olive oil, basil and lemon.
Transfer in a bowl and add manually the ground almonds. Combine well.
Set aside in the fridge.
In a little bowl combine 2 generous tbsp of pistounade with 2 tbsp of tuna.
Spread the mixture on one slice of bread.
Close with the second slice and enjoy!


Sandwich pistounade (thon, basilique, olives et amandes) 


Pour 1 petit bocal de Pistounade

200g d’olives vertes dénoyautées

2 gousses d’ail

3 CAS d’huile d’olive

Une douzaine de feuilles de basilic frais

2 généreuses CAS d’amandes en poudre

Le jus d’1 citron


Thon à l’huile d’olive en boite
2 tranches de pain de mie

Pour 1 sandwich

A l’aide d’un mixeur plongeant, réduire en purée les olives avec l’ail, l’huile, le basilique et le citron.
Transférez la mixture dans un récipient et ajoutez-y les amandes en poudre. Mélangez bien.
Réservez au frais.
Dans un petit bol, mélangez 2 généreuses CAS de pistounade avec 2 CAS de thon.
Etalez cette préparation sur un tranche de pain. La recouvrir de la seconde et dégustez !
