2 OLIVES, GRUYERE AND HAM CAKE
(Cake aux 2 olives, Gruyère et jambon)

This superb cake will find its place as a very easy diner or an amuse-bouches. Do not hesitate to eat it with a salad, season with nice shallots and balsamic vinegar. I cannot recount the number of time I have baked this marvel. The white wine is important for the recipe but do not worry, after 45 minutes at 200 degrees, I am not sure about the amount of alcohol left! And if you really do not wish to use the wine, replace it with milk ;)



Wine pairing : Bergerac (Rosé) from Bordeaux.

A quick glance in your kitchen…

In your fridge
Eggs
White wine 
Gruyère 
Ham

In your cupboard
Self-rising flour
Pitted black olives
Pitted green olives
Mustard
Olive oil 

2 OLIVES, GRUYERE AND HAM CAKE
Serves 6


3 eggs 
200g 7,05 oz of self-rising flour sifted
12cl 4,22 oz of white wine 
100g of grated Gruyère cheese
80g 2,82 oz of pitted green olives 
80g 2,82 oz of pitted black olives 
1 tbsp of mustard 
10cl 3,40 oz of olive oil
150g 5,2 oz of ham (diced)

Preheat the oven to 200° C.
Mix the eggs with all the ingredients listed.
Bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
Serve with a nice green salad.


Cake aux 2 olives, Gruyère et jambon

Pour 6 personnes 
3 œufs
200g de farine tamisée
1 levure chimique
100g de Gruyère râpé
80g d’olives vertes dénoyautées
80g d’olives noires dénoyautées
1 CAS de moutarde
12cl de vin blanc
10cl d'huile d'olive
150g de jambon coupé en morceaux

Préchauffez votre four à 200° C.
Battez les œufs avec les ingrédients listés.
Enfournez pour 45 minutes.
Servez avec une salade verte.
