(Cake Gorgonzola et raisins noirs)


Apart from Pizza topping, we do not really know Gorgonzola. I do like to cook with this Italian cheese as it is not as strong as a Roquefort or a Blue cheese. Strangely, it is very different from Stilton. Gorgonzola as a creamy flavor which works so well when heated. No wonder it is a hit among pizza lovers. This time I have included the Gorgonzola in a yummy Autumn cake with nice black grapes. It's perfect on its own or with a lovely side salad for a tasty supper in minutes!


Wine pairing : Gigondas (Red ) from the Rhone Valley.

A quick glance in your kitchen...

In your fridge
Eggs
Milk
Gorgonzola
Black grapes
Grated Gruyère

In your cupboard
Flour
Olive oil
Baking powder
White wine (optional)


GORGONZOLA AND BLACK GRAPE CAKE
Serves 6


3 eggs 
100g 3,5 oz of flour sifted
10cl 3,40 oz of milk 
10cl 3,40 oz of olive oil 
11g 1/2 oz of baking powder
150g 5,2 oz of Gorgonzola
400g 14,10 oz of black grapes
70g 2,46 oz of grated Gruyère
5 cl 1,6 oz of white wine (optional)


Pre-heat your oven to 180°.
Whisk the eggs with the flour and baking powder.
Then add the milk, oil, Gorgonzola, grapes, Gruyère and wine.
Combine well.
Butter and line a loaf tin with baking paper
Pour the mixture in.
Cook for 35 minutes.



Cake Gorgonzola et raisins noirs

Pour 6 personnes 
3 œufs
100g de farine tamisée
10cl de lait
10cl d’huile d’olive
1 sachet de levure
400g de raisins noirs
150g de Gorgonzola
70g de gruyère râpé
5cl de vin blanc (optionnel) 

Préchauffez votre four à 180° C.
Battre les œufs avec la farine et la levure.
Ajoutez le lait, l’huile d’olive, le gorgonzola, les raisins, le gruyère et le vin.
Bien mélanger le tout.
Déposez cette préparation dans un moule à cake préalablement beurré et fariné.
Enfournez pour 35 minutes.
