BABA GANOUJ, GOAT CHEESE, HONEY AND GRAPES SANDWICH
(Sandwich de caviar d’aubergine, chèvre, miel et raisins)

I did some baba ganoush the other day (recipe here), and I did not know what to do with the leftover as I did not have enough to spread on a pie for example. This sandwich from Guy Martin was my answer and with the marvelous brown bread from Hedone, it was a sandwich made in heaven no less!! If you do not have the time, you may buy some already made aubergine paste, but between you and I, the home made is incredibly much better! Enjoy...

A quick glance in your kitchen...

In your fridge
Baba ganouj
Goat cheese
Rocket salad
Grapes

In your cupboard
Honey
Large brown bread


BABA GANOUJ, GOAT CHEESE, HONEY AND GRAPES SANDWICH
Serves 1



2-3 tbsp of baba ganouj (homemade or not)
1 slice of goat cheese
A little bit of honey
Some rocket salad (optional)
A few grapes cut in half
1 slice cut in half of a large brown bread

Spread the baba ganouj on both bread.
Add the goat cheese, rocket and the grapes on one side.
Drizzle with honey.
Close with the second piece of bread.
It's ready!


Sandwich de caviar d’aubergine, chèvre, miel et raisins

Pour 1 personne 
2-3 CAS de caviar d’aubergine
1 tranche de chèvre en buche
Un filet de miel
De la salade roquette (optionnel)
Quelques grains de raisin coupés en deux
1 grande tranche de pain de campagne coupée en deux

Tartinez les 2 tranches de pain de caviar d’aubergine.
Déposez le fromage, la salade, les raisins et un filet de miel sur 1 tranche de pain.
Fermez le sandwich avec la seconde tranche de pain.
C’est prêt !
