STILTON HOT DATES

I love dates. I remember during my childhood those enormous dates filled with walnuts or marzipan. The first dates I prepared where filled with Roquefort but it was a little bit too extreme : very sugary on the date side and very strong obviously on the Roquefort one. Changing for Stilton was a choice I made when I move to....London. But still, something was a little bit too strong from both ingredients. Strangely, to warm them was the answer : the dates were just sweet and well balanced with the Stilton. They are terribly easy to make for a last minute date for example...;)

A quick glance in your kitchen...

In your fridge
Stilton

In your cupboard
Dates

STILTON HOT DATES
For 30 dates
30 dates (pitted) 
100g of Stilton

Pre-heat your oven to 180°.
Insert delicately a little piece of Stilton into the pitted date.
Repeat the process for the other dates.
Place the dates on a baking tray.
Cook for 3-5 minutes.
It’s ready…


Dattes chaudes au Stilton

Pour 30 dattes
30 dattes dénoyautées
100g de fromage Stilton

Préchauffez votre four à 180° C.
Insérez délicatement un petit morceau de Stilton dans la datte.
Répétez l’opération pour les autres dattes.
Déposez- les sur du papier sulfurisé.
Cuire 5 minutes.
Enjoy...
