MANGO CHUTNEY, HAM AND BRIE SANDWICH
(Sandwich de Brie, jambon et chutney de mangue)


Do not mistake a Camembert for a Brie and vice-versa... The Brie comes from Meaux or Melun (suburb of Paris) where they are obviously protected by an AOC. The Camembert comes from Normandy (and Normandy only ...). They are both made with raw milk.
So I opened my granary lovely piece of bread and thought : "What will accompany my Brie ? Something sweet to counterbalance... A chutney! A mango one. I then add some delicate ham and cucumber to have a balanced sandwich. For a vegetarian option, omit the ham then...
Try to go for a splendid Brie de Meaux in its finest range...

In your fridge
Finest ham
Cucumber
Brie de Meaux

In your cupboard
Granary baguette
Mango chutney

MANGO CHUTNEY, HAM AND BRIE SANDWICH
Serves 1

A piece of granary baguette 
A slice of finest ham 
1 generous slice of Brie de Meaux (cut in 3 pieces) 
1-2 tbsp of mango chutney 
4 slices of cucumber

Slice the piece of baguette in half.
Spread  the chutney inside.
Add the ham, Brie and cucumber.
Enjoy! 



Sandwich de Brie, jambon et chutney de mangue

Pour 1 personne

1 morceau de baguette aux graines
1 tranche de jambon de qualité supérieure
1 généreuse tranche de Brie de Meaux (coupée en 3)
1 à 2 c-à-soupe de chutney de mangue
4 rondelles de concombre

Ouvrez le morceau de baguette en deux.
Etalez le chutney à l’intérieur.
Déposez la tranche de jambon, les rondelles de concombre ainsi que le Brie.
Régalez-vous !
