(Flapjack aux dattes et pistaches)

It's really never easy to choose a proper snack for the children. We all wish to give something healthy, nice and yummy. After a while, we tend to give up and go for the comfy solution : to buy the usual chocolate bars or biscuits. Oh, no worries, I do it as well but to be honest, I prefer to prepare a little box for my children with nuts, dry fruits, home made biscuits and SOMETIMES a chocolate bar...
These flapjacks are very yummy and ready in 15 minutes. No excuses then...




DATES AND PISTACHIOS FLAPJACK
A quick glance in your kitchen...

In your fridge
Butter

In your cupboard 
Agave syrup
Oat flakes
Dates
Pistachios
Ground cinnamon
Vanilla clove

DATES AND PISTACHIOS FLAPJACK
The recipe is for 4 yummy flapjack

60g 2 oz of agave syrup (or honey) 
60g 2 oz of melted butter 
100g 3,5 oz of oat flakes 
100g 3,5 oz of dates (roughly chopped) 
100g 3,5 oz of pistachios 
½ tsp of ground cinnamon 
1 vanilla clove.

Pre-heat your oven to 180°.
Combine well all the ingredients together.
Line a rectangular tin with buttered baking parchment.
Pour the mixture into the tin and spread evenly. 
Make sure the surface is even.
Cook for 15 minutes.
Set aside to cool.
Cut the flapjack into squares.




Flapjack aux dattes et pistaches

Pour 4 flapjacks
60g de sirop d'agave (ou miel)
60g de beurre fondu
100g de flocons d'avoine
100g de dattes coupees en morceaux
100g de pistaches
1/2 cc de cannelle en poudre
1 gousse de vanille

Préchauffer votre four à 180°C.
Dans un bol, melanger tous les ingrédients listés ensemble.
Chemiser un moule rectangulaire avec du papier cuisson.
Étaler uniformément la mixture à l'interieur du moule.
Enfourner pour 15 minutes.
A la sortie du four, laisser refroidir avant de le couper en carrés.
