A SPRING BENTO

A SPRING BENTO

A kind of "sandwich" so cute to bring to the park for a nice lunch with your friends... My bento box is directly from Japan but you can find some anywhere (think about the Japan Center for example). If you really cannot find it, take any (cute) plastic box instead... My good friend from Tokyo always did amazing food boxes for her children (you should have seen the carrots in rose shape she did...). For her, the look of the food inside was as important as the food itself... In my bento, I have everything I need and it is very balanced, healthy and filling. You can imagine your own and put anything you fancy : a nice sandwich nicely cut, shaped fruit, etc... With a bento, you have to do it correctly which is a joy afterwards to eat... Just give it a try, you will see...

This spring bento is gluten-free...
