ROQUEFORT AND APPLE CAKE

ROQUEFORT AND APPLE CAKE

Hou la la, this Roquefort and apple cake ! This wonderful recipe could be a nice touch to your Easter lunch, dinner or buffet. I think I may baked one every month : for my children, for my friends, for the friends of my friends...It is absolutely delicious...
Roquefort is made in the Midi-Pyrénées (France), from raw sheep milk. The first mention of Roquefort appeared in Carolingian time around 1070 ! Charlemagne loved it and Diderot awarded it as the "king of cheeses".Enjoy!

Wine pairing : Bonnezeaux (Red) from The Loire Valley.
