MUSTARD ICE-CREAM AND HONEY GLAZED SAUSAGES
(Glace de moutarde et saucisses au miel)

 Do you need a chic idea for your Easter lunch, dinner or buffet ? I have your answer...Don't be worry by the title, this aperitif or starter is easy-peasy to realize and so good. You already have the ingredients in your kitchen. You will adore the mustard in this form. Nearly all my friends are addicted to this ice-cream since many years now..., maybe it will be your turn ???
You don't have an ice-cream maker maybe ? You will not need one with this recipe...I will show you how to do it below...

MUSTARD ICE-CREAM AND HONEY GLAZED SAUSAGES
A quick glance in your kitchen

IN YOUR FRIDGE
Milk
Egg
Crème fraîche
pork sausages

IN YOUR CUPBOARD
Caster sugar
mustard
Honey

MUSTARD ICE-CREAM AND HONEY GLAZED SAUSAGES
Serves 6-10 
2 egg yolks (beaten) 
25cl 8,5 oz of milk 
100g 3,5 oz of crème fraîche 
2 tbsp of caster sugar 
70g 2,5 oz of mustard 
850g 30 oz of pork sausages (or cocktail sausages) 
6 tbsp of honey

In a saucepan, bring to the boil the milk, crème and sugar.
Add the egg yolks. Combine well.
Pour in the mustard. Mix together well.
Set aside to cool in a fridge.
Churn.
No ice-cream maker?
Put the mixture in a freezer-proof container.
Put it in the freezer for 3 hours. Stirring well every 30 minutes.
Before serving :
Preheat the oven to 210° C.
Put the sausages into a large roasting tin.
Pour the honey over the sausages.
Cook for 7 minutes.
Serve with the mustard ice-cream.

Glace de moutarde et saucisses au miel

Pour 6-10 personnes 
2 jaunes d’œufs (battus)
25cl de lait 
100g de crème fraîche 
2 cas de sucre en poudre 
70g de moutarde 
850g de saucisses cocktail 
6 cas de miel

Dans une casserole, faire bouillir le lait, la crème et le sucre.
Ajoutez les jaunes d’œufs en remuant bien.
Laissez refroidir au frigo.
Faire prendre en sorbetière.
AVANT DE SERVIR :
Préchauffez votre four à 210° C.
Déposez vos saucisses dans un grand plat rectangulaire et badigeonnez-les de miel.
Les cuire 5-7 minutes et les servir avec la glace.
