KIR SAINT-GERMAIN

This is a very refreshing Kir. I like the particular taste of elderflower. So when I spotted it on a liqueur form, I was delighted to do this nice Kir. Aligoté is the second most popular white grape variety grown in Burgundy after Chardonnay.  It has an AOC and was first recorded in Burgundy in the 18th century… You can find Saint-Germain in large Waitrose. Enjoy with moderation...

In your fridge
Aligoté de Bourgogne (white wine)

In your cupboard
Saint-Germain liqueur

KIR SAINT-GERMAIN
Serves 1
1/5 of Saint-Germain (Eldflower liqueur)
4/5 of chilled Aligoté de Bourgogne (white wine)

Pour the Saint-Germain at the bottom of a glass.
Top up with the Aligoté.
Best served chilled.
